The CW’s Supernatural has cast Amanda Tapping of Stargate to play a cool and mysterious new angel named Naomi. The character will first appear in the seventh episode of Season 8 and will recur throughout the season. It was also reported that M*A*S*H alum Mike Farrell will guest in the eighth episode.

Once again, we’ve got two competing projects in Hollywood, and oddly enough, they’re both competing Sleepy Hollows for television. The legend of Sleepy Hollow made a decent motion picture with Tim Burton at the helm, and much like there is two Beauty and the Beasts in development for TV, now there’s a showdown between Sleepy Hollows.

In an open letter, Ocean revealed that he had fallen in love with a 19-year-old man in the summer of 2007 — when Ocean was also 19 — only to realize, after confessing his love for him, that the other man was already in a relationship. “I don’t know what happens now, and that’s alrite (sic),” Ocean wrote.
