Supernatural Episode 8-17 Review – “Freaks and Geeks”

In last week’s episode we saw what Supernatural can do when accompanied by a great supporting cast. Now be prepared to see what they can do without it in “Freaks and Geeks” which as a bit of a preview is a let down. They have overcome poor secondary characters before to manage decent turn outs but that is only because Dean, Sam or our dearly missed Bobby could come into save the day.

‘Being Human’ review: Series Five premiere ‘The Trinity’

The fourth series of Being Human could so easily have been a spectacular failure – with just one original cast member left standing, show creator Toby Whithouse was faced with the seemingly insurmountable task of replacing old favourites while simultaneously keeping a four-year-old drama fresh and relevant.

Movie Review: ‘Ruby’ sparks up a little romance

“Ruby Sparks” is the great romantic gem of the summer, a diamond in the rough that bends genres, tickles the fancy and trips up expectations. Writer and co-star Zoe Kazan, working with the directors of “Little Miss Sunshine,” concocts a romantic fantasy told from a male point of view, with a distinctly feminine sensibility.

True Blood Review: "Turn! Turn! Turn!" (Episode 5.01)

When last we saw Sookie and supernatural friends, things had gotten a tiny messy for the True Blood gang.

Saving Hope Review: The Space Between

A medical drama with a supernatural twist, Saving Hope is a compelling hour of television. And if nothing else Daniel Gillies is back on my screen, which is enough reason to watch if there was ever a reason to watch. (Even if he is not playing the calculating, family-centered member of the undead like his character on The Vampire Diaries.) The Pilot begins with a automobile crash as Dr.
